Now she’s been given an ultimatum: clean up or face eviction.

Season 9, Episode 3: Leza/Linda

In Tucson, Arizona, Leza’s house is so packed, the city has red tagged it as uninhabitable and she is no longer allowed to live in it. If she doesn’t clean up before the city imposed deadline, Leza could lose her property and end up homeless. Linda’s husband has just undergone a heart transplant and received a second chance at life. However, due to Linda’s hoarding and the unsanitary conditions of the home, her husband’s medical team will not allow him to move back to their Canton, Ohio home

Linda has hoarded out a 180-acre Chimacum, Washington farm in preparation for the end of times. She is adamant that the world markets are going to collapse in the next few months and her hoard and property will be a refuge for those who survive. However, in current times, Linda is facing the potential loss of her property to city authorities if she can’t clean up. Kerry started hoarding plants after he lost his job as a military medic. His suburban Franklin, Indiana home is now so full, he risks losing the love of his life and his children forever.

Season 9, Episode 5: Shannon/ Ray

Shannon is convinced that her hoarding is caused by demons possessing her Ogden, Utah home. She is so frightened by the entities and the severe clutter that she and her three children are living in a shelter. Ray’s historic San Francisco Victorian home almost burnt down the block when his hoard caught on fire. He is now facing charges from nearly every city agency to clean up his hoard or potentially lose his house.

Season 9, Episode 6: Sandra

Former famed interior designer, Sandra, has hoarded out every square inch of “Hillside” the historic Greensboro, North Carolina mansion she lost to foreclosure. However, she refuses to leave the manor in spite of the fact the bank has sold it to a new couple. The new owners are now facing a crisis of conscience trying to figure out how to compassionately evict Sandra from the property and dispose of her hoard.

Hoarders Season 9 Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I admit I have a weird obsession with this show. It is sad and painful but seeing the transformation is so brightening and encouraging. I honestly watch Hoarders to be inspired to clean when I don’t have the spoons. Even just a few things a day gets done.
