Jessie Season 2 Summary

Season 2 of Jessie was announced on March 10, 2012 by Disney Channel. It consisted of 26 episodes including a full-length movie. It began airing on October 5, 2012 and ended on September 13, 2013.

Season 2, Episode 1: The Whining

The Ross kids become concerned that history is repeating itself after a scary old doorman tells them a building legend about a nanny who did something terrible to the kids in her care on Halloween.

Season 2, Episode 2:Green-Eyed Monsters

Jessie is worried about Tony’s jealousy after he turns up at an improv class she’s doing with Petey and tries to make a fool of him.

Season 2, Episode 3: Make New Friends but Hide the Old

It is the beginning of the school year and Jessie and Bertram couldn’t be happier. On Emma’s first day of high school, she meets a rude, aggressive girl named Rosie. To Emma’s dismay, they’re assigned to do an art project together and Rosie ends up embarrassing her in front of their entire art class. Meanwhile, Luke searches through his backpack and Kenny the Koala accidentally falls out. Random bullies witness the incident and laugh at him. Ravi takes the blame in order to leave Luke off the hook; unfortunately, they start teasing him instead. Elsewhere, Zuri is upset because she has just started third grade and her homework is more difficult, so she refuses to do it. Feeling guilty and upset, Rosie attempts to apologize to Emma for embarrassing her, Luke reveals to everyone at Walden Academy Middle School that he owns Kenny, not Ravi, as the brothers kindly embrace, and Zuri reveals why she didn’t complete her homework, forcing Jessie to cheer her up.

Season 2, Episode 4: 101 Lizards

Ravi’s lizard has 12 babies so he tries to find parents for them. Ms Chesterfield offers to help, but Ravi’s worried she wants to make handbags out of them. He couldn’t be more wrong.

Season 2, Episode 5: Trashin’ Fashion

Emma’s excited about Mum’s designs being in a fashion show, but when she doesn’t like them she doesn’t know whether or not to tell the truth in her fashion blog.

Season 2, Episode 6: Austin & Jessie & Ally: All Star New Year

Emma is beyond excited when she finds out that Austin Moon (Ross Lynch) is performing at Times Square. On New Year’s Eve, Jessie takes her to see Austin and to their luck, they bump into him and meet the rest of the gang: Ally (Laura Marano), Trish (Raini Rodriguez), and Dez (Calum Worthy). Plus, Jessie comes up with a brilliant plan on how to get Austin to perform on time. Later on, the gang shows up at their apartment, and Emma tells Jessie that if she helps them, he could record one of her songs and turn it into a big hit. When Ally reads Jessie‘s lyrics, she thinks they are not good, so Jessie accidentally steals Zuri’s poem and takes credit for it. At the end, when Austin and Jessie are about to perform in Miami, she gives Zuri credit, and everybody is satisfied with Dez’ impressive music video.

Season 2, Episode 7: The Trouble with Tessie

Jessie is worried Tony is planning on proposing to her after he invites her out for a special evening to meet his parents, so she drags Zuri and her new friend Stuart to the dinner to keep him from doing anything romantic.

Season 2, Episode 8:Say Yes to the Messy Dress

A famous designer sends a dress to be reviewed on the Kitty Couture blog. The zip breaks while Jessie is wearing it leaving the dress is wrecked and needing to be fixed.

Season 2, Episode 9: Teacher’s Pest

Zuri is having trouble with a teacher, so Jessie volunteers to help at school to see what’s happening. Unfortunately, the lonely teacher ends up wanting to be Jessie’s best friend.

Season 2, Episode 10:Jessie’s Big Break

Jessie becomes a nanny to the children of a movie director.

Season 2, Episode 11: Pain in the Rear Window

Luke dislocates his knee after rehearsing his dance moves for the upcoming carnival in Central Park, and he is injured. He now must stay home, and has to miss the carnival, where he was going to perform. Since he is in a wheelchair, he decides to stay on the terrace in the penthouse. However, he notices a shadowy black figure dressed in black clothes at the carnival, and has bad thoughts about the figure. He enlists Emma’s help to find out who the figure is. Meanwhile, Jessie takes up a booth at the carnival which she thinks nobody can win. However, when many people win the game, she is determined to find out why.

Season 2, Episode 12: Toy Con

After Jessie’s dad cleans out his bomb shelter, Jessie gives Zuri her favorite childhood doll, called Military Mary. Jessie tells Zuri that the doll has sentimental value to Jessie. However, when Zuri trades it with a toy collector for a far less impressive toy, her, Jessie, and Ravi must find a way to get the doll back. Meanwhile, Bertram is entering a Salsa dancing contest to win his crush’s heart. However, he has no experience in Salsa dancing because he thought it would be about the sauce instead of the dance, so Luke and Emma work together to teach Bertram to dance.

Season 2, Episode 13:To Be Me, or Not to Be Me

Jessie gets her first part but after touching a strange talisman Ravi has been sent from India, she swaps personalities with Zuri, leaving the eight-year-old to perform.

Season 2, Episode 14:Why Do Foils Fall in Love?

Jessie decides to write Tony a song for their first anniversary. However, when she thinks Tony forgot their special day, she ends up writing an angry song that ends up going viral on Emma’s vlog; Ravi is miserable over his many gym class failures.

Season 2, Episode 15:Kids Don’t Wanna Be Shunned

Emma is upset when her friends stand her up for the new girl in school; Luke has Ravi help him with his project about India for their school’s multicultural night.

Season 2, Episode 16:All the Knight Moves

It seems Zuri is a chess prodigy, so Jessie encourages her to enter a competition to win a trip to Paris. However, Zuri lets her French opponent win so he can visit his family.

Season 2, Episode 17:We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Badges

Jessie offers to help Zuri earn Butterfly Scout troop badges during a Central Park camping trip; Luke convinces Ravi that lying is a super power.

Season 2, Episode 18: Somebunny’s in Trouble

When Zuri loses interest in bunnysitting her class pet, Jessie steps in, only to lose the rabbit; Emma has a crush on a school jock and enlists Luke’s help to learn more about sports.

Season 2, Episode 19:Punch Dumped Love

When Jessie grounds Emma from going to the school dance, Emma must sneak out to warn Luke that his new crush is going to dump him; Zuri and Ravi set up booby-traps to thwart a burglar.

Season 2, Episode 20: Quitting Cold Koala

Failing to stay at a friends house, due to missing Kenny the Koala, Jessie advises Luke to spend one night away from Kenny to prove he’s mature and doesn’t need a stuffed animal. Luke has some crazy dream about Kenny that night and struggles to sleep. Meanwhile, Kenny is “accidentally” damaged and Jessie hangs him up on a clothesline on the terrace. Then Luke and Jessie go out to get Kenny and Jessie slips and drops Kenny off the terrace and Kenny gets decapitated because he got mangled by a car. Stuart and Ravi try to fix him. Can he save Kenny before its too late? In this episode, we find out that before Luke came to the Ross’, Kenny was the only thing he had, which is why Luke is obsessed with Kenny. Stuart and Ravi fix Kenny. Luke is able to get over Kenny because Kenny now smells bad because of the operation. He also has another eye, from Zuri’s doll, but Jessie mentioned that she would fix Kenny’s eye in the end credits.

Season 2, Episode 21:Panic Attack Room

Everyone gets trapped in the penthouse panic room after Stuart changes the pass code to be alone with Zuri; Bertram and Emma help Jessie with an upcoming audition.

Season 2, Episode 22:Throw Momma from the Terrace

Jessie invites Bertram’s mom to visit as a surprise for his birthday but Bertram and his mom do not get along; Ravi and Luke compete in a school egg-drop competition.

Season 2, Episode 23:The Jessie-nator: Grudgement Day

Future Jessie appears from an elevator time machine to warn present Jessie to run for her life. She tells Jessie that when Ravi grows up, he invents a robot version of Bertram that evolves into an army which tries to destroy Jessie and the world.

Season 2, Episode 24:Diary of a Mad Newswoman

Things become tense when Bryn joins the morning announcements and co-anchors with Emma and Luke. Bryn tries to sabotage them both so she can have the newscast all to herself.

Season 2, Episode 25: Break-Up and Shape-Up

Jessie feels threatened when Tony has to train a beautiful girl named Victoria to be a doorman. It forces the couple to question their relationship.

Season 2, Episode 26 :G.I. Jessie

Jessie’s father invites her to the military base where she grew up and reveals that he is marrying her rival’s mother. Meanwhile, Darla’s super smart and crazy handsome brother, Caleb takes a shine to Emma and they try to make their relationship work.

Jessie Season 2 Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

A better season with Jessie, Bertram, Lue, Zuri, Ravi and Emma. Lots of lessons to learn for everyone and a show the whole family can enjoy.
