The Jungle Cruise Summary

Set during WWI, riverboat captain Frank Wolff transports British scientist Dr. Lily Houghton, and her brother MacGregor, on a mission into a jungle to find the Tree of Life, which is believed to possess healing powers that could be of great benefit to modern medicine. The Jungle Cruise Review

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Oh my, so I watched late last night at 3 a.m, and I was not expecting to enjoy this film based off the trailer. It gave off respective vibes, like ugh another one of those action/adventure Indian Jones wanna be films. I was so wrong though. I loved it, while it still had a but of Indiana Jones feel to it, it was also combined with a Pirates of the Carribean, Atlantis and National Treasure rolled into a new plot. The onscreen chemistry between Dwayne Johnson (aka Frank) and Emily Blunt (Lily) was great. It worked well with with a new plot, cheesy dad jokes, a but of history, lots of action and so much more. My only warning is for families that gave kids whom don’t deal well with scary, this isn’t for you.

Right now it is available on Premier Access in Disney + and in theaters. It will be available for all with the subscription on November 12. Also did you know it was based off this ride at the Disney Theme Parks?
