Kronk’s New Groove Summary

Kronk’s New Grove, which is also known as The Emperor’s New Groove 2: Kronk’s New Groove, was released straight to video on December 13, 2005. The film brings back the original cast and characters with adding a few more. this time the film is narrated by Emperor Kuzco (David Spade) about Kronk Pepikrankenitz (Patrick Warburton). Kronk is now the chef and delivery boy for Mudka’s Meat Hut. Kronk is concerned about his father’s upcoming visit and wanting to impress him. Ever since Kronk was a young boy, his father would disapprove of his sons culinary interests. All his father wanted was for him to to settle down with a wife and have a large house.

Kronk has a flashback to when he also had a wife and house as an accomplice to Yzma (Eartha Kitt) , Yzma is human again, with a tail, convinced Kronk to help her sell Sewer slime as a potion. They make money from the old folks and planned on blipping their homes to put their house on. When the old folks figure out what a was happening, they chased Yzma to the bridge and cornered her with Crocodiles below. Yzma transforms herself into a rabbit to escape but a condor swoops her up. Kronk realizes how badly the old folks were effected by Yuma’s scheme, he returns their homes.

The second part of the flashback story features Kronk as a camp counselor of the Junior Chipmunks at Camp Chippamunka. He falls in love with fellow counselor Miss Birdwell (Tracey Ullman). They camp was having a competition and Kron’s told his campers to do whatever it takes to win. One of his campers, Tipo, took that to heart and pulled a prank which won them the championship. Miss Birdwell was upset but Kronk choose to protect his camper.

The flashbacks are over and Kronk’s father (John Mahoney) has arrived. His friends try to help by passing themselves up as Kronk’s wife and I children, which leads to confusion. Kronk comes to the realization that his friendships makes him feel wealthy. With that, Miss Birdwell falls for Kronk and Kronk got his father’s stamp of approval. Just before the credits roll, we see Yama in the condor’s nest as the eggs hatch.

Kronk’s New Groove Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The movie we didn’t ask for and absolutely needed. It is a must if you loved Kronk from Emperor’s New Groove. Kronk is hilarious, caring and well he finds love. A great movie for the whole family.
