A Whole New World by Liz Braswell Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I love that this book takes the story of Aladdin and changes it. It feels more plausible than the original. Almost a perfect mix of the animated movie and live action while pushing it into darker twists. I love that Jasmine has even more of a voice while still keeping her softness and calmness about her. Her character isn’t lost within this version, nor is Aladdin’s, Jafar or Genies’s. It is also a great read for upper elementary and above.
